The TYPO3 text/image element

The text/image element of TYPO3 is extended with a new layout selection: Slider, similar to the image element. In addition, there are new image positions:

• Banner
• Text Overlay
• Overlapping (Left)

The new Image Positions

Banner

The banner image position allows you to use an image in a slightly darkened version as a background image and display the text above it in the middle. example from the Theme: T3 Creative Agency

Text Overlay 1

This image position also sets the image darkened as the background image and the text above it. The RTE text is retracted in a nice effect on mouseover.

All text is always centered vertically and horizontally.

Overlapping (Left)

This is a special image position because it displays text and image in a magazine format. The text overlaps the image, which is left-justified.

The image caption is superimposed on the image. The whole image is partially cropped from the text.
