The new Image Element of TYPO3

The TYPO3 image element has been expanded by 2 new layout options:

1. Space between
2. Slider

Layout means this selection under Appearance and not the image positions:

Space between

This selection comes into play when you assign multiple images to the image element. I recommend using this option only if you have at least 4 images.

These images are then displayed horizontally and distributed in such a way that the distances between them are always the same.

Space between works very well with small images, such as logos.

Slider

T3 Templates uses the TYPO3 Core as well as possible and avoids unnecessary plugins. This option is a very good example of that.

The Slider layout selection turns the image element into a simple slider. This also supports the image caption, which is displayed in the middle on the left.
